Tuna Pasta

Sorry for not blogging lately. Nobody tends to blog nowadays and I was considering changing platforms to Instagram or something. Easier to upload pictures, don't have to write, more accessible audience etc. I wanted to give up. Or change to Wordpress. 2019 after all, why not make a change right? Tbh I do like old school blogging and a bunch of my friends and relatives sometimes read my blog and told me it's a way of keeping up with what's going on in my life. Shoutout to u guys... ❤️

I also like reading blogs! Food blogs... maybe this format will never go out of style. Let me think about it. Let me know if I should blog more about my hobbies and life too. Gonna be travelling to Vancouver soon in late Feb. Will bring my laptop so I can blog.

I will however blog less frequent than before. As I am trying out art as a new hobby that could possibly lead to income. I sold a calendar last year that I designed and it turned out ok. My art is not great at the moment. Will need more practice and patience. Good things take time I guess. I am too impatient with results I feel.

Anyway, I will proceed with my latest recipe. It is tuna pasta. A tomato based one. I really think it is unique and awesome. It's got basil and cheese to give it a rich taste and it hits all the umami spots. Just the way I like it. My dad was a fan. Haha he is so easy to cook for. My mom is the critic hehe.

The tuna kinda dissolved in the tomato sauce, but you can still taste the flavour of it and still had some chunky bites. I would advise put the tuna in when nearly done and stir till broken up.  But if you like it mushy then go ahead and put it in earlier. I kinda like it mushy. Idk why.

For the ricotta cheese you can replace it with cream cheese, which is what I did. But it is very lumpy and takes time to dissolve. Try it at room temperature. What happened was it took too long to dissolve so that's why the tuna dissolved first. Anyway, below is the recipe... enjoy!!
