I recently went to China for a short trip. We went to Shanghai and stayed a few nights. We ate lots and shopped lots. It was a great getaway and we ate some amazing Chinese cuisine. Here is a photo montage of our trip. The drawings are done by me. We saw an art exhibition and it inspired me to draw in my travel journal!
Also great hotel breakfasts. We had bacon and eggs, ham omelet, dumplings, french toast and congee! We ate at several different restaurants during the course of our stay. Usually we feasted for dinner. Lunch while we were out and about tended to be lighter and I enjoyed dumplings and xiaolongbao.
We shopped for clothes mostly and there was a summer clothing sale as it is already the end of summer. We bought warm clothing at Gap as it is much cheaper than back home in Malaysia.
All in all, it was an enjoyable trip. I look forward to more vacations, hopefully!
