This new batch my mom made the same types, but added pandan mooncakes. It is green in colour and very yummy. She also used a different mould for some of the mooncakes. She used a plastic mould rather than the wooden one. It is shallower, so can make more mooncakes, but smaller and shorter mooncakes. Will show you the mooncakes from the new mould below!

I have been munching away on mooncakes yesterday. I like the fruit and nut one now. It is crunchy with all the nuts in there. So yum. The lotus paste mooncakes are nice too. But I have to eat in moderation coz mooncakes have a high sugar content! But my mom leaves the mooncake in a box on the kitchen counter and the temptation to eat them every time I am bored is always there. I think I will ask my mom to keep the mooncakes somewhere less accessible.
Anyway, the weather was cloudy yesterday so I tried taking photos of the mooncakes outdoors. It's my mini photo shoot. What happened was it started to rain and some water droplets fell on the mooncakes! 😲But my mom said they are still edible... just have to eat them quick before they turn mouldy. Mooncakes can't touch water. Here they are below... enjoy!
