Sorry for the hiatus from blogging. Wanted to improve my photography and needed a break from blogging, hopefully coming back with new insights. Today I took my mom's DSLR out to the garden and took some pics of our current vegetables. So these are what is growing in our garden these days. And the regular veggies we have been eating. I took pics of the main veggies. And the guava tree.
Below is the guava tree fruiting again after a break. In the middle is a small guava fruit. There was a time it stopped flowering and had no guavas. Now the small fruits are growing again.
There are also a few leafy greens like those below. It is good to have a variety of leafs so we have many options when it comes to cooking. There are a few to choose from like those below. They all are really nice. Leafy greens are nice in a stir fry or as an accompaniment for a noodle dish. It can also be cooked in an egg drop soup. Really yummy. Don't forget the garlic of course!

| Sayur Manis |
The above sayur manis is actually a tall plant. It has thick woody stems and we only pluck the leaves to cook. It is famous in Pan Mee, a noodle soup.
I hope I get to take more pictures soon. My mom is planting celery soon, so I don't want to miss that. The pics today are from my mom's DSLR. The ones without the logo are unedited. Seems the unedited ones are better quality. I don't know how to edit them on my Mac. Maybe I need to pay for software. May have to invest in it if my photos turn out better. Will keep you posted!Labels: garden, vegetables
