Yesterday we went to Mid Valley with my brother who is back now. After a day's outing we went to Mid Valley to shop. I got the suggestion from my friend to try Beard Papa eclairs. So I made a beeline to the shop while my bro and mom were shopping.
The shop is on LG floor near the San Francisco Coffee and KFC. It has a little sitting area by the side and I think it is a Japanese shop as the shop assistant at the counter greeted people passing by in Japanese.
I tried the eclair. They have cream puffs too which were cheaper and something called a coronet which is a roll. The cream puff does not have the chocolate coating. They have a few flavours for the filling like vanilla, chocolate, mango, green tea and even durian! So yummy!
I got the vanilla eclair which cost RM8.90. I tucked into my eclair fully aware it cost RM8.90. When I bit into it, the cream oozed out. It was delish! I tried to savour it but it was gone within 2 minutes!
Basically if you like cream puffs, you will like the eclair. Also around that floor there are shops that sell artisan popcorn and durian flavoured snacks. If you have the patience you can find many cheap things like jewellery and gifts.
I hope I get the chance to work out to burn off the eclair!! By the way, my bro brought back some nice snacks from Canada. I like the Snappers chocolate coated pretzels. The Brookside chocolate coated blueberries are yummy too. The salmon jerky is so so and the chocolate covered almonds are nice too.
I will be kept busy snacking on these. I just hope I don't get any chubbier. Lol... I will try to get back to size 10 at least. Will do a weight loss update once I sort myself out. Thanks for reading!Labels: desserts, eating out, snacks
