They sold makeup brushes for RM7 and other grooming tools for RM2 and above. I didn't need anything in that department. Their body shampoos were RM6 and hand soaps RM5. I bought one body shampoo last week from here. It is pretty good and I used it as a hand wash.
Anyway, I wanted to get a perfume so I browsed their perfumes section. They have a range of prices. At the lower end, they had Perfume Generics and at the higher end they had some lesser known brands like Bi-es which sold for RM39 and above. They smelled alright though I wasn't sure if they were long lasting.
In the end, I settled for Tracia Eternal, Passion. It smelled really floral and seemed to perform alright when I spritzed some on my hand. However after buying it, I realized the smell kinda fades pretty quickly. It is pleasant though and makes a good deodoriser on a hot day. It was RM15. Ok I guess.
The other things I bought were lavender scented wet wipes for RM5 and a men's SPF 20 lip balm for RM6. I only bought it coz it had SPF. I figured I am going outdoors a lot for CBS and other things so I need SPF for my lips as well so they don't get burnt. I had a bit of a lip sunburn after last week's CBS as the weather was very hot. I think I need it and the smell was great, kinda mild and minty. It goes on smoothly like butter.
After yesterday's shopping, I met my mom at Giant and I saw ripe avocados at the clearance section. 5 or 6 avocados for RM4.99! OMG.... so I got the ones that look ok and not too ripe. There were 5 in the pack. And I went home and made myself avocado toast. I then had another avocado toast for tea time.
Anyway, I went back to the Guardian Bargain Corner today and I picked up a few things to sell at my CBS. They were a steal and the items were cute. The Palmer's spray lotion and face moisturizer were a steal and if I didn't sell them I would use them for myself. I bought kid's hair clips, a charm bracelet and charms, mini perfumes, mini hand creams and Palmer's spray lotion and moisturizer. I should have bought more hair clips! Maybe I will go again tomorrow.
I like what I bought and I am just happy even if I had just eaten avocado toast and not bought anything. I am gonna save more money so I better stop buying full priced items. I really enjoyed shopping here the past week and I can't wait to see what they have on the next concourse sale at Leisure Mall! Hope it is interesting.
