Dinner at Ikea

Today I went with Fai supposedly for an early dinner at the wantan mee shop nearby my house. Upon arriving there we found it closes at 4pm and was closed. Our next plan was to go to Sungei Wang for dinner.

On the way, it was jammed as people were commuting. We forgot that it was rush hour. So instead of facing the jam, we took a detour MyTown.

MyTown was kinda quiet. Mostly people go there for the Ikea there. We decided to have Ikea food for dinner. We didn't actually walk through Ikea. We headed right to the restaurant.

Below is what I ordered. 5 meatballs in gravy, a spring roll and a refillable drink and coffee. The meatball gravy was awesome and the meatballs were nice. The mashed potato was pretty standard and was delicious with the gravy... pretty appetizing. I wished I had ordered the salmon though as the meatballs weren't filling. It was actually the kids set for the 5 meatballs and cost RM6. My total bill came to RM11. Alright I guess. The spring roll wasn't really good. The drink was interesting. A flat kind of fruit water. And the coffee was quite strong. For the coffee, you can actually add hot water to adjust the taste. But I didn't mind strong coffee.

After eating at Ikea, we walked around at MyTown for a bit. Fai bought health food like nuts and juice to supplement his diet. He doesn't normally eat healthily as he doesn't cook. I tested a few fragrances here and there. I'm waiting for the right fragrance at either low cost or expensive... But it must be long lasting, feminine and sweet.

Anyway I had a good time and didn't buy anything. I just enjoyed myself. It proves I can go out and not buy anything! Great... I hope I can save more money!
