Last Sunday I went for yet another Car Boot Sale. This was located in Bandar Seri Putra Kajang as well but at a different location. It was nearer to the lake, although I did not see the lake. It was along a road rather than at a park. Although the road had lawns on either side and trees as well.
We arrived quite late and the places were all taken up. We had to set up shop on the pavement/parking lot adjacent to the main road. It still was visible though and some people passed us as they were walking to their cars. The plus point of the location is that it was shaded so it was not as hot.
This is our shop... looks kinda cute. We sold clothes, shoes, bags, accessories, decorative items, toiletries and decorative cloth items like table cloths and cushion covers. Our clothes and decorative cloth items were popular. Also our accessories. I made RM80 and Diyana made RM 120+.
Ok, so remember I bought things from the Guardian concourse sale? I didn't manage to sell the Palmer's. I sold the charm bracelet for RM3 and made RM1 profit. And I sold the mini perfumes at cost. OMG. At the end of the day, Diyana bought my hand creams, at cost of course. Nobody bought the hair clips so I am glad I didn't buy many. I am glad I got rid of them, but at cost it was not profitable. I think buying things to sell is a bad idea. Unless the things are cheap and popular.
So today I walked around and snapped a few pics. Just to get a feel of CBS. Below are the pics.
It is a great way to spend the afternoon whether buyer or seller. I bought 2 pillowcases and a Gap t shirt for RM6 in total. Diyana likes CBS coz of the unique finds you can get. She likes one shop with really cute stuff. There is a lively atmosphere at the CBS and you never know what you might find. Every CBS is different. I spoke to both buyers and sellers and sometimes we meet the same people again, so there is a camaraderie that takes place. I really enjoy CBS! Thanks for reading!
