Today I went to Leisure Mall and they were having a bedding sale at the concourse. I actually went to Leisure Mall yesterday and saw it had a sale but didn't check out much, but today I managed to go through it properly. The things there are really pretty!
They weren't dirt cheap but they were affordable. And the patterns and colours were lovely. There were different designs. Some plain, some pastel and some more traditional. I liked the Spring/Summer type colours. The single quilts were selling for RM49! And so pretty. I bought 2 of those. I also bought a single fitted sheet set for RM40.20. I wanted to get 2, but decided to get just 1. The fitted sheets were lovely as well.
There were also throw blankets, stuffed animals and laundry baskets. I also bought a memory neck pillow for my flight next Monday. It was RM29.90. A bit pricey. Upon hindsight I should have taken the normal neck pillows. They were RM14, half the price. But I didn't see those before I impulse bought. Never mind, the expensive ones are memory pillows and are cuter.
Anyway, here are the items I bought below. 2 quilt covers for RM49 each, a single fitted sheet set for RM40.20 and a neck pillow for RM29.90.
Below is a close up of the fitted sheet. So pretty! They would look so nice in my room. I like pink and other fresh/sweet colours for my room. It just suits my room and I think bright and pastel colours for my room are just so me.
But enough of buying things for now. I will shop for toiletries and buy ethically in Canada. The drugstore and cheapo toiletries are super nice at Walmart and Costco. Way better than anything here. I plan to eat a bunch of cheese and berries when I'm there too. And visit a thrift shop. So fun!
I'm fighting off the hunger as I'm fasting today. I plan to break fast around 7.30pm. It's the month of Ramadan and I thought I would try fasting one day. It's tough. Hope I make it... Going Pasar Malam later on to buy food for dinner... Will eat then.Labels: decor, shopping
