They have the Twin Towers and a park and looks very scenic. At night it looks nice and in the daytime you can walk in the park and enjoy the greenery right in the heart of the city. There is also shopping, but these are high end things and branded goods. What trip to Malaysia is complete without visiting the iconic Twin Towers?
2. Petaling Street
They have a variety of cheap food that you can sample like chicken rice, wantan mee, koay teow soup/hor fun, beef noodles, char koay teow and lo shi fun. They also have chinese type biscuits that you can buy. And coconut water, mata kuching juice, soy bean and sugar cane for drinks. They have shopping too... cheap t shirts, wallets, bags and souvenirs. There is also a complex called Central Market where you can buy handicraft and knick knacks. It is an air conditioned complex and the prices vary. Some really expensive and some quite cheap. There is also a flea market that opens from 5.30am until 10.30am.. but I have not been there. The MRT stops at the Pasar Seni station and you will be there already.
3. Pavilion
This mall is quite upmarket. It has trendy things and maybe affordable for foreigners. It has nice pubs and cafes at the outdoor walkway. Also they have good western food like pizza and Italian. You can walk around the area and it is quite metropolitan. The MRT stops a short walk from Pavilion. The station is called Bukit Bintang.
4. Kajang Satay
It is marinated meat on skewers. They have chicken, beef and mutton. It comes with peanut sauce. One famous satay place is called Restoran Sate Kajang. It is across from the Stadium Kajang MRT station.
5. Pasar Malam
Most residential areas have a night market (pasar malam). They sell street food and really cheap things. You can find all sorts of things there. For example, peanut pancakes, turnip dumplings, fried "carrot cake", keropok lekor, nasi lemak, assam laksa and other interesting street food. You can find all sorts of cheap goods there as well. Like accessories, tech accessories, clothing, kid's toys and lots more.
6. Muzium Negara
I have not been there in a long time but it has lots of exhibits about Malaysian history and the like. You can access it by MRT at the station Muzium Negara.

Ok, that was for KL. Other places in other states in Malaysia worth visiting are below -
1. Melaka - Go to the river waterfront where they have good cendol. Or Jonker Street for antiques and handicraft.
2. Penang - Food paradise. Awesome beach with jetskis and parasailing. Also go to Langkawi while you're in the area. Island hopping.
3. Other islands and beaches - Terengganu, Pulau Redang and Pulau Tioman. More island hopping and diving.
4. Taman Negara - Malaysia's national park in Pahang. See the rainforest.
5. Kuala Selangor - Mangrove swamps and fireflies boat ride at night
Ok that is mostly what I think I will like in Malaysia. The most famous places. Of course there are many other things to see and explore. Hope my bro's gf enjoys her stay here. I will take them out by MRT and maybe the rest they can go by car or if it's outstation they can go by themselves. Looking forward to it!
