Choc Peanut Butter Cheesecake

I made a really nice chocolate peanut butter cheesecake and we ate it on the 2nd day of CNY. It was a no bake cheesecake and was really airy and almost like a mousse as it had sour cream and whipped cream in it.


It looked nice and it had 3 layers. The bottom is a biscuit crust, the next layer is peanut butter cheesecake and the top layer is chocolate cheesecake. On the top I put whipped cream from a can and kit kat pieces.


The whipped cream deflated very quickly as it was the spray kind and not meant for decorating cakes. I will not buy spray whipped cream again unless I am planning to decorate ice blended drinks or desserts. I could use the spray cream for a number of desserts but I need to take the pic very quickly or it will deflate.

The taste was not bad and my dad liked it. As with all my other desserts recently, my mom said it was too sweet. My friends who have eaten my desserts also all say they are too sweet. I am not sure as I don't think it's too sweet. Maybe my tastebuds are accustomed to sweet things.

Usually American recipes will add lots of sugar and icing sugar, so I will probably cut down the sugar next time.


I have been feasting the past few days and now I am so lethargic and I do not crave food. I have overwhelmed myself. I feel like I should work out. I told myself no dieting, but I probably should eat healthier and start exercising. Just half an hour of cardio 5 times a week should be good enough.

Hope I can eat healthier after this! And get back to normal again.
