My mom made some oat cookies 2 days ago. This is her 2nd batch of oat cookies. There will also be a 2nd batch of pineapple tarts. Because one batch is not enough.
The oat cookies have a nutty texture to them, tasting as though there are some nuts, and they certainly have a good bite to them. Not exactly chewy but grainy. I really like the texture. So good.
I love choc chip cookies. The ones I made previously were bigger than these and had no oats in them. But these oat cookies also use brown sugar. I love brown sugar in cookies.
Anyway, they are disappearing quickly and CNY is coming soon! Today I think my mom will bake more cookies. I will assist my mom and soon the house will have the smell of freshly baked cookies again!
