I love oatmeal although for some reason I don't eat it often. Maybe it is too difficult to prepare or not portable. Whatever the reason, I think oatmeal is delicious and so good for you. I should eat this every day!
I do not have high cholesterol although my good cholesterol is low. I need to take more chia seeds and fish oil; and exercise more. Oatmeal actually lowers cholesterol overall I think. And it has good soluble and insoluble fibres.
Anyway as I mentioned the intent in the previous post, I made banana choc chip oatmeal! Finally!
The oatmeal itself was slightly sticky. I added a tablespoon or more of condensed milk. Then 2 small bananas and lastly, a good sprinkling of chocolate chips. I'd say a handful or so.
The oats were so hot that the choc chips melted! And the bananas were very ripe. Still it was a good meal. And guilt free as the healthiness of the oats offsets the unhealthiness of the choc chips! At least that's what I tell myself anyway.
All in all, it was a good try and hope I eat more nutritious oats!
