Our aloe vera plant has a new bud and this is the first time it has done that. I have never heard of aloe vera flowering before and I googled it today. It turns out it is a yellow flower or it can be red as well! Only mature aloe vera plants can bloom it seems.
I hope our aloe vera stays healthy so we get to see the flower! In the background are red roses and anthuriums.
I am glad my mom has green thumbs!
