Yesterday I went for dinner with Fai. Lately he has been preoccupied so I was glad he could come out. We ate near my house at a small corner lot restaurant called Wah Zhai. It was really good Yong Tofu and very cheap too.
They have really great variety and you can find huge sheets of fuchuk and rolled up fuchuk as well. I love fuchuk... it is my favourite. Basically you self serve and can take the uncooked pieces in a bowl and pay. Then they will cook it for you. Below is the set up. As you can see there are many types.
This is what Fai ordered. Mostly fried things. We have fuchuk, suikow and taupok. So yummy! I love fried things. He also had a bowl of soup with a pork ball. He also had soya bean to drink. His total came to RM6+... really cheap considering he had a drink as well.
I had a bowl of soup noodles (wantan mee noodles) with bean sprouts. I also had a piece of stuffed broccoli, 2 sheets of fuchuk and a taiwanese sausage. As a drink, I had herbal tea. My total came to RM11.20. I thought it was really affordable.
The food was good and cheap. I would really consider going there again. I hope we can frequent here. So nice!Labels: dinner, eating out, restaurant
