Today I went out with my friend. I went to her house first for a while then we walked to Taman Pertama MRT station. We took the MRT to Taman Midah station. When we got out of the station we exited and walked on the covered pavement a while to a row of shops nearby. They were stalls, not proper shops.
The food looked really good in those stalls! My friend brought me to a fried food shop and I got a piece of Yau Char Kuai. Mmm... yummy! It was crispy and nice. They also had various fried stuff like cucur udang and fishcakes.
We walked further down the stalls row and my friend found a chicken rice shop. It was steamed chicken. We ate there and she ordered one portion chicken with rice and soup. I just ate my Yau Char Kuai. I had an iced tea and she had a hot tea.
When we were done eating, we walked around and I bought a pair of sunglasses from an optical shop. The sunglasses cost RM50. Then we went to a pharmacy where I bought wet wipes and pimple gel. Just everyday items I needed or just picked up coz I saw them. Not that I really purposely bought anything.
After walking around, we went back to the station and bought pies from a pie shop at the station... To be continued in the next post! All about the pies....Labels: eating out, meals, outing
