Recently, my parents were busy in the garden as usual and I offered to cook dinner. I had a few ideas but settled on Alfredo Pasta. I wanted to make Carbonara but I couldn't deal with having the eggs a certain texture and wanted to avoid frustration and certain failure.
I thought of making yogurt pasta as I had made that before and it tasted great. But I thought ok, why not do a proper Italian dish instead.
So I made it. I won't include the recipe here coz Alfredo is quite standard like Marinara, Aglo Olio and Carbonara and there are plenty of good recipes out there.
I tweaked it by adding mushrooms, sausages and capsicum. So I cooked these in the butter... and I am not sure I am supposed to! I used normal sausages... these were thin sausages bought from Ikea actually. If I had Chorizos it would be better.

.
Turns out the sauce was really thick. I had to keep adding more milk to get the desired consistency. The sauce was creamy and really rich. Maybe because I put cornflour.
In the end, it was quite alright. It tasted quite legit. My parents said it was good. I think I would like to make other pasta dishes next time. I am really a fan of pasta. Like it so much!
