My mom tends to the garden every day unless it is raining. It is her hobby and it keeps her occupied for many hours a day. With her hard work, the garden is always so well manicured.
My mom makes sure the garden is pruned and trimmed. Not to mention the vegetables we grow! The vegetables grow in patches here and there in the garden. But today I want to show the garden as a whole. It is a great landscaping feat!
There are many types of flowers. Some of them are potted from a nursery and some are from seeds from older plants. The reddish purple flowers below are from seeds from another plant. The pink flowers below are daisies from seeds my grandmother gave.
This corner here is quite nice as it has many flowers. You can see 2 aloe vera plants below. There is also an anthurium plant with red flowers. The colourful flowers are roses which my mom says are always flowering. So glad that our roses are so healthy! The purple orchid peeking out from behind the large green plant was a recent addition! I bought them for my mom from Ikea when I went there recently!

My mom requested for me to buy an orchid plant when I went to Ikea. The plant was huge and very tall. I took pictures of a few orchid plants, sent them to her and we decided on the plant below. So I took home this orchid plant. My mom said it instantly brightened up the area! I am so happy she likes it. They really are pretty and there are so many flowers. It came back to a good home.. my mom will take good care of it! 💚
