Disney/Pixar movies I have liked recently

I have been catching up watching Disney & Pixar movies recently. What can I say, I like cute characters and animation! The storylines are almost guaranteed a happy ending, just what I need after a hard day in the real world. The characters are all so loveable....

Here are my favourites I have seen recently!

1. Lilo and Stitch - This is one of my favourite Disney movies. It is about family love and loneliness. Lonely Lilo gets a so called dog and names it Stitch but it turns out Stitch is an alien warrior set to destroy things! He is so destructive and turns everything into a wreck. It shows that even if you wreck everything in sight, there are some people, family, who are gonna love you. So cute.... watching it gives me an instant pick me up.

2. Zootopia - I love this 2016 movie! The bunny rabbit becomes a police officer and is the cutest member of the police! Hilarious. She meets a sly fox and it becomes a buddy cop show with plenty of funny dialogue! It gives me hope that even the cutest and tiniest person can do great big things in their own way.

3. Finding Dory - Dory is a fish with poor short term memory but she manages to cope in her unique way. It is a show about the importance of friends and finding our way back home. Dory is so sweet.

4. Brave - Such a nice movie about a princess who wants to be independent. So different from other Disney Princesses. She is always wanting to do her own thing, rather than be told what to do. She and her mom have a tough time getting along but in the end they understand each other. So heartwarming.

5. Monster's University - Another movie about underdogs. The university setting shows how competitive the world is and the characters navigate their weaknesses, and succeed despite being outcasts. They just wouldn't take no for an answer. It shows us how the worst of us can turn out alright in the end.

6. Inside Out - Oh my god, this movie deserves awards. I love how each human emotion is a character and plays a role, and even the negative emotions have a reason for being there so it is okay to feel sad, or angry. I love the parts featuring Sadness as they are so emotional, and strike a chord with me.
