Cantonese Noodles

Some time ago, maybe 2 weeks ago, I went out to eat with Ah Fai. We went to his area in Pandan and ate Cantonese fried noodles. Well, I had Cantonese fried noodles anyway. Ah Fai had the giant prawn noodles. I can't afford it. This giant prawn is very meaty and has a lot of orange gunk on it from the prawn head. It was so good. I tried some.

I had just the normal Cantonese fried noodles which was delicious too. I love the crunchy fried noodles with the thick, gooey sauce on top. The textures are so appetising. It really contrasts. And my noodles even had a couple of prawns which were really cooked well. In this shop, cooking prawn is their specialty. So I can expect great tasting prawns. Really fresh, tender prawns.

This was the Cantonese fried noodle. It also had koay teow at the bottom. A rather large dish but it is just the puffiness of the noodles. I could finish it. The pig intestines were a bit too chewy.

This was the giant prawn noodle. As you can see the giant prawns were huge and very meaty. The noodle is yee mee. There is a lot of orange gunk in the noodles. It was really expensive. RM40+. A real treat to have once in a while for Ah Fai.

This is my second time eating at this restaurant. Pandan area has a lot of nice food. I hope I can try more food soon and blog about it! :)
