Bakuteh

Today it was quite rainy again. I woke up quite late then it started to rain. It rained last night as well. I love it when it rains at night but not during the day especially if I want to go out.

It was perfect weather for piping hot bakuteh! My mom made this batch of bakuteh a few days ago and left it in the fridge to seep in the flavours. And to keep to until my brother came to visit today. It was so tempting to steal some from the fridge... I did have some that my mom asked me to taste. I gladly taste tested an entire bowl!

Today however, my brother came over as it was labour day, a holiday. I finally got to eat the bakuteh properly. The meat was so soft. The soup was so flavourful and tasty. There was some pork stomach in there and some mushrooms. It was awesome!

I loved this home cooked bakuteh and on a rainy day it was especially nice.
