On Saturday, my mom pulled off an incredible feat! She baked... wait for it.... A quiche, a meatloaf and a butter cake! What is this sorcery?!
The butter cake was first. It was just a simple cake. It was very nice. We used vanilla extract.
Second was the quiche. A mushroom, bacon and capsicum quiche. I love quiches and pies. This one had a shortcrust pastry crust. The crust was crumbly and nice.
Lastly was the yummy meatloaf. We kept it in the fridge to eat the next day. It had a sauce topping of tomato ketchup, mustard and chilli sauce. It had breadcrumbs mixed in with the ground meat.
Overall, it was a mean feat of baking and I enjoyed all the baked goods. It is so cool to have a mom who bakes!
