Today's dinner

Tomorrow is Easter and I plan to cook a brunch! But today was good too. Had dim sum for lunch, crepes for teatime and my mom cooked braised pork and stir fried cabbage for dinner. She had bought the pork from the market a few days ago.

I love this braised pork dish and we have it every Chinese new year as well as during the year. It is a teo chew dish and is tried and tested many times by my mother. I love it because of the soft pork, tender mushroom and flavourful, soft garlic. It is cooked in the pressure cooker to save time.

The cabbage is just normal sliced cabbage with garlic, carrot and chinese celery that is cooked through but still a bit crunchy. Goes really well with the pork dish.
