Today I felt like an alternative to coffee so I made a green tea latte. I would have liked to make it with almond milk but until now I have not bought almond milk. I can't find it near my house. Maybe I have to get it at an expensive supermarket.
I am now no longer on a Paleo diet because I find I can't sustain it. I keep wanting to eat noodles... I want to try eating Paleo but not so strict. I can make allowances here and there. I have lost 1kg on a Paleo diet. It is good for me and I feel it is very healthy. But not practical.
OK anyway, I made a green tea or matcha latte as per recipe below.
Ingredients-
2 tsp matcha green tea powder
1 cup hot water
1/4 cup milk, almond milk, soy milk or coconut milk
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp honey
Mix 2 tsp matcha green tea powder with 1 cup hot water. Add vanilla extract and honey. Stir to dissolve. Add 1/4 cup milk. Blend it all up in a blender for a more frothy taste. I would like to try it with almond milk or coconut milk one day.
