How I made granola from muesli

Today my mom was baking a cake so I decided to use the oven too. I decided to turn our muesli that we did not eat often into crunchy, sweet granola.

Tbh, granola is not that healthy although it is a nice way of eating oats. It has oil n sugar in it. So I transformed the muesli totally. Here is how I did it.

First I took a sieve and poured some muesli onto the sieve and sieved out the powder. I repeated until the whole thing was sieved. Then I cracked 2 eggs and took out the egg whites. I poured the egg whites into the bowl of muesli. The egg yolks I kept in a box for my mom to use later. I think the muesli was 5-6 cups.... A lot!

Then I poured canola oil n coconut oil into a small bowl, maybe a few tbsp. I poured it into the bowl with the muesli. Then I poured honey into the bowl. Maybe 1/4 cup or more. I added 3 tbsp brown sugar, a bit of salt, some cinnamon and vanilla extract.

Then I added in walnuts, sunflower seeds and raisins. I mixed up all of the ingredients in that large bowl. Wow... It was a lot!! It was quite dry at first so I kept adjusting the honey, oil and egg white. Turns out I added in more honey, oil and one more egg white. Now it was really coated.

Then I lay it all into a baking tray. One tray couldn't fit all so I put it into 2 trays. I baked one tray at a time for around 25 mins each and halfway I opened up and tossed it.

When it was done, I let it cool and nibbled lots haha... before keeping it in jars.

So that was how I made muesli into granola! Thanks for reading. I will enjoy my granola with milk now.
